TecnoRS Licenses HoloTouch® Technology For Commercial Prototype Development
Stamford, Connecticut, August 18, 2009 – R. Douglas McPheters, President of HoloTouch, Inc., and Vincenzo Saracini, President of TecnoRS Srl, announced today that TecnoRS has licensed its touchless, holographic human-machine interface technology for the purpose of developing a prototype of touchless, building access control panels for European markets. License terms were not disclosed.
TecnoRS Srl is an Italian company known for adapting innovative technologies to a wide range of electronic devices and products.
HoloTouch, Inc. licenses its widely patented technology for use in specific devices and provides design, engineering and manufacturing services needed to customize its technology to prototypes of those devices.
Reached at his Stamford office, McPheters said: “this exciting project is further evidence of the broad appeal of touchless, holographic control devices using HoloTouch technology that have no moving parts to abuse, bypass hygiene issues and let people operate electronics by simply passing a finger through full-color holographic images floating in the air in front of those devices.”
